Cheif of the para-monkeys

The Feared nomadic para-monkeys forever bound to the cybernetic implants of the 'Golden-Cap Drive ,are a force of nature , swarming the Oz nebular and carrying out the tasks of their ever changing masters. Their modified bodies almost entirely synthetic made over 2 millennia ago now give them amplitudes of strength ,an ability to store quantities of air within their bodies and control pressure for space flight in addition to their trademark boosters and glider wings for navigating the numerous cyclonic wormholes that tunnel through the great Wizards domain. The chief himself is fighting in the Wizards tournament for his swarms freedom from the control of the infamous Dead Witch of the western systems and her Golden-Cap Drive

The flying monkeys are very iconic characters of the Oz stories so I wanted to do them justice.For the cheifs design I decided against the standard monkey with wings strapped to its back take and instead weave the wings into its design that would feel , dare I say, more natural. I opted for the approach of having his arms be part of the wings' main structure kind of like how the forelimbs of a bat would act as its wings. I also didn't want to go down the route of making him 'evil' looking as the flying monkeys where never evil, just slaves, and even helped the dorothy in the end. instead I wanted them to look like synthetic constructs yet a bit more organic than the scarecrow and the lion , like they'd been made by even more advanced technology with the warm glowing trim being a reference to their slaver ,the golden cap
