The LION

For the Lion I wanted to stray away from just doing a standard looking lion instead I wanted the 'Lion' nature of the character to almost be metaphorical. Like the scarecrow he would be another synthzoid probably built for a more aggressive purpose like the scarecrow's security drone occupation. The lion however would have at some point gone rogue and lived in the 'forest' an unsecured and unsavoury part of the Oz system where many a rogue thrives. below and opposite you can see some of the early sketches exploring this idea I had in my head , some more abstract than others.
