So With the first few drafts of concepts done , I decided to go back in and explore some more of the mood with another illustration , this time using the actual white box of one of the concepts as a base

I tried playing around with the lighting with the city glow and the neon lights giving the level its lighting . I also tried highlighting the main assets that would be involved in the action (the water tower and crane) , this turned out sort of well , though I think Thier emphasis is lost in the busyness of the background.

In addition to this painting I also managed to get some feedback from one of our tutors ,Mike, Who did a quick paintover of the above concept illustration suggesting ways I could improve it , via populating it a bit more with another pass of details ;

As well as this I was also recommened that I look up for examples of unique architecturein new york . To which I collected so me more examples and put to gether another mood board

My main point of reference was the beautiful art deco achitecture that litters manhattan I particularly like the overly ostentasious gold and black building as I reckon it would be a prime lair for some sort of boss.

I was also advised to create some sort of timescale to work by for the next two weeks;

WEEK 2:

by mid week I need to have my idea finalised and the route nailed down

I also Need to concept the 3 hero assets and their respective action sequences

WEEK 3:

I'm going to create the 2 angle isometric plan -the route drawing and the promo,art book quality, beauty shots (For which I think two might be enough , 3 is a stretch goal )
